  • Consular Section - Immigration to Israel

    Information for those who are interested to undergo consular check in to confirm the right to immigrate to Israel according to the "Law of Return”.

    • The checking procedure is held by the First Secretary of Israel Foreign Ministry upon preliminary appointment only.

    • All of the family members have to go through the checking procedure, except for children under the age of three years.

    • To be able to pass the checking procedure you must provide original identity documents stating your connection with Jews due to the "Law of Return", photos, etc. Knowledge of the family history, as well as information about the nearest relatives, including their addresses and phone numbers, can simplify and accelerate screening procedures.

    Related procedures are held at the Office of the Ambassador of the State of Israel situated

    on Mondays and Wednesdays from 09:00 till 17:00

  • Israel Foreign Ministry Consular Department

    Foreign Ministry Consular Department deals with citizens of the State of Israel, issues related with going to the State of Israel on the guest, business, travel, work visas as well as visas for medical treatment.

     

    Reception for the publics ​​by appointment ONLY.

     

    To apply for a GUEST visa you must submit:

    1. Copy of Israeli identity cards (Teudat zeut) of an Israeli citizen, who invites you. Any copies of documents are considered, including photocopies, faxed or e-mailed copies. (Please do not use consulate fax ).

    2. Two passport (foreign and local with copies).

    3. Birth certificate (original and copy)

    4. Marriage certificate (original and copy)

    5. Certificate from the employer stating the amount of monthly income, indicating your positions, vacation period and fact of the job preservation after you for the period of vacation, (pension certificate and a letter from the Social Provision Body about the size of your pension).

    6. Two passport photographs (5 x 5), taken not more than six months before the date of the application to the Consulate.

    7. Citizens visiting relatives must submit to the Consulate evidence of formal kinship.

    8. Statement from the bank account.

    9. Papers should be submitted in the original (which will be returned to the applicant after reviewing), documents of Israel citizens in copies.

    10. For citizens with Jewish roots it is necessary to present documents (originals) confirming nationality.

    11. Consulate reserves the right to request additional document from case to case.

     

    TO APPLY FOR A BUSINESS VISA YOU MUST SUBMIT:

    1. Letter from the host institution (copies of invitation), which should specify who finances the trip (accommodation and expenses).

    2. Voucher from the hotel with proof of accommodations payment.

    3. Covering letter from the employer requesting the visa and specifying purpose of travel, expected period of staying in Israel, professional positions of employee as well as parties sponsoring the trip.

    4. Two passport (foreign and local with copies).

    5. Two passport photographs (5 x 5), taken ​​not earlier than one year before the date of the application to Consulate.

    6. Statement from bank account.

    7. Consular Section reserves the right to request additional documents for consideration.

     

    TO APPLY FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT VISA IT IS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE:

    1.Invitation from Israel Medical Center stating diagnosis and treatment period

    2. Voucher from the hotel with proof of accommodation payment.

    3. Certificate from Moldovan doctors stating diagnosis.

    4. Two passport (foreign and local with copies).

    5. Certificate from the employer stating the amount of monthly income. (pension certificate and a letter from the Social Provision Body stating the size of pension).

    6. Two passport photographs (5 x 5), taken ​​not earlier than one year before the date of application to the Consulate.

    7. Statement from bank account.

    8. Consular department reserves the right to request additional documents for consideration.

     

    INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS MUST SUBMIT:

    1. Invitation from Israeli travel company.

    2. Voucher from the hotel with proof of accommodation payment.

    3. Two passport (foreign and local with copies).

    4. Certificate from the employer stating the amount of monthly income, indicating the positions, vacation period and preservation of work place during the vacation period, (pension certificate and a letter from the Social Provision Body stating the size of pension).

    5. Two passport photographs (5 x 5), taken ​​not earlier than one year before the date of the application to Consulate.

    6. Statement from bank account.

    7. Consular department reserves the right to request additional documents for consideration.

     

    Tourist groups (of 9 persons or more) can apply for the visas only having a permit from Israel's Interior Affairs Ministry.

     

    GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

    Personal attendance of all adult citizens applying for visas is mandatory.

    Travelers with guest, tourist and business visas are strictly prohibited getting an employment in Israel.

    Those who violated visa regime in Israel will not be re-issued Israel visa.

    Passports should be valid for a period longer then 6 months from the date of application to the Consulate.

    For minor children it is required:

    1. The original birth certificate

    2. Personal presence of both parents (in the absence of a parent (death, termination of parental rights) it is required to present legalized documents justifying an absence of the parent (s) such as:

    a. death certificate,

    b. court decision on the termination of parental rights,

    c. certificate from the state registry office stating that the father of the child is recorded according to his mother sayings)

    d. ​​or permission from both parents on a children trip notarized.

     

    If the applicant is a citizen of Ukraine, on the above documents there should be placed a stamp "Apostille" issued by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

    Validity of passport should end no earlier than 6 months from the date of the application to the Consulate.
